Today, many of our daily appliances and equipment use electronics, sensors and sophisticated computer technologies. Circuit Designing is an integral part of any Electronic Gadget or Robotics. If you know how to design any circuit & logic behind it then you can do any innovation with your creative ideas.
You might be surprised at what you can design - you just have to have a 'problem' to utilize your knowledge. Even with some basic knowledge you can do some pretty cool things. A lot can be done with some Speakers, LDR, Buzzer, Resgistors, LEDs etc.
When designing a circuit, think about what you want it to achieve. Then how do you think the circuit will do this? Start simple. What power source will you be using? A 9V battery? Sketch it down.
Then what? A status led? Draw that down, but remember it needs a resistor to 'protect' it.
See how by taking little steps you can create your own circuit? It may not be a super-dooper all-singing all-dancing circuit with a hundred ICs and crystals and bluetooth and all that stuff, but it's a circuit that you have made. This workshop will provide the rich hands-on experience to the participants on designing the many simple but interesting electronics circuits. They will be introduced to Electronic Circuits in a fun learning way with the help of Snap Circuits.

3.1. Circuit 1: Simple LED On/Off Circuit.
3.2. Circuit 2: Series Parallel Lamp Circuit
3.3. Circuit 3: Variable Lamp Circuit
3.4. Circuit 4: Conductor Tester Circuit.
3.5. Circuit 5: Direct & Reverse Control of Motor.
3.6. Circuit 6: Identification of Battery Polarity Circuit
3.7. Circuit 7: Magnet Control Electronic Circuit (Reed Switch)
Session III: Advanced Circuit Building
1. Circuit 8: Light Control Space War
2. Circuit 9: Light Control Anti-Theft Alarm.
3. Circuit 10: Multiple Siren (Police Siren, Toy Gun Siren, Ambulance Siren)
4. Circuit 11: Charging & Discharging of Capacitor Circuit.
5. Circuit 12: Birthday Music
6. Circuit 13: Water Tank Full Alert Circuit.
7. Circuit 14: Clap Controlled Circuit
Session IV: Quiz & Competition
At the end of the workshop a small competition will be organized & winning team will get the certification of excellence.
Duration: The duration of this workshop will be two consecutive days, with 6 -7 hours session each day in a total of 12 -14 Hours.
Eligibility: The pre-requisite for joining this workshop is zero. This Workshop is best suited for IV to VII Standard Students.
